iPod dock

Concert Quality Sound

Three individual amplifiers power a 2.1 channel speaker system delivering a surprising level of high-quality audio in such a compact unit. The SR-Bass woofer, located in the bottom of the casing, further enhances low-end performance. All aspects of the sound output benefit from Yamaha's advanced DSP technology. The music enhancer adds a brilliance and energy that improves any music programme material, and the astonishing Extended Stereo effect digitally reproduces the aural experience of true stereo with speakers sounding further apart than they really are. Additionally, there is a digital loudness control which ensures optimum audio performance at all volume levels.

Clock and alarm

The alarm function allows you to wake to your choice of beep, radio or iPod/iPhone. Radio and iPod/iPhone can also be combined with the beep. In this mode, the selected audio source fades in gently and is initially filtered, to eliminate high frequencies, before gradually introducing the full audio spectrum. This function ensures that the waking experience is as comfortable as possible. After three minutes, the beep is activated making sure that you are fully awake. It's a great way to start the day. Additionally, there's a timer function that's just perfect for use in the kitchen (or when you fancy a nap!)
