Powerful, accurate and styled to make a dramatic design statement in any listening environment, Studio 190 floorstanding loudspeakers deliver the dynamic range, tonal accuracy and spatial transparency that have long set JBL systems apart. The Studio 190s’ tower configuration places the midrange and HF drivers at the ear level of a seated listener, delivering more direct sound with fewer unwanted reflections. The rigid, heavily braced enclosure includes a rear-facing bass port for extended low-frequency response. The enclosure itself, available in a silver-tinted black or cherry vinyl finish, incorporates the distinctive JBL Weave design for a dynamic, one-of-a-kind look.

Proven technologies.
The Studio 190 system features dual woofers with stiff, lightweight ribbed PolyPlas™ cones and rubber surrounds that dissipate heat and minimize distortion, even at high listening levels. The midrange driver, with a PolyPlas cone and cloth surround, is housed in a separate sub-enclosure to isolate its sound from that of the woofers, improving overall clarity. A CMMD® Lite tweeter dome with a proprietary Bi-Radial® waveguide eliminates unwanted resonances and distributes clear, distinct high-frequency sound over a wider listening area, greatly expanding your room’s “sweet spot.” All drivers are magnetically shielded for placement near video monitors when used in home theater configurations.

Studio 190 speakers are voice-matched to the other speakers in the Studio 1 Series (Studio 120c, Studio 130 and Studio 180), making it easy for you to design the ideal home theater for virtually any listening space. But of course, they also perform brilliantly in stereo pairs, reproducing your favorite music with all the subtlety and nuance of the original performance.
